Hayei Data Sources

Hayei can collect data from three different sources: an Elasticsearch cluster, a Prometheus server, or an email account.

Elasticsearch Data Source

Using an Elasticsearch Data Source monitors logs from OpenStack and Ormuco Stack environments. Meanwhile, it is possible to analyze logs from any application or system that is the case of DeOS.

Within the Ormuco ecosystem, every production environment possesses a unique Elasticsearch index that helps to distinguish each environment’s logs. In addition, Hayei enables to connect to external ELK clusters. Please refer to the following sections for more details.

Prometheus Data Source

Hayei can get metrics from a Prometheus server and get alerts from Alertmanager. Metrics are data collection from the resource monitoring process, including CPU, RAM, Storage, Floating IP usage ordered in time. Depending on the server configuration, there is a possibility of getting metrics at different levels, from the servers to specific applications running in an instance or Kubernetes pod.

Help Desk Data Source

Hayei can serve as a help desk assistant for technical specialists to answer queries and address user issues.
